This series of six triptychs is based on national articles taken from The Philadelphia Inquirer, collected between 1980-1990.

The EIKONS (Greek for ‘image’) are about the cosmetizing of violence...about the transformation of the Unthinkable into the Acceptable.

There is something particularly American about our celebration of violence and our
worship of the gun.
